Very relaxing walk along a disused railway line between Dyserth and Prestatyn. Parked on the Albion car park in Dyserth which is free. A visit to the Shed at around the halfway point is well worth a visit, lots of information about the area, clean toilets and lovely cafe with stunning views. Approx 2.6 miles each way.
There was not much parking, ( about 7 spaces) but we were there early, so we had no trouble parking. There was a lovely trail next to the brook where the dogs had a paddle, and then carried on the trail and onto the road. This took us back onto the trail further up the road which eventually took us onto a tarmac path leading to Prestatyn. The path is to the right of the carpark and is suitable for wheelchairs, prams etc. A very nice walk ,no litter and the occasional dog bin. We saw the 'Easter Bunny' hiding the eggs ready for the hunt !
Lovely. Was only visiting on the way through as traffic on A55 & was sunny with the dogs in the car. So made a detour. Imagine it's lovely to discover more. Car park too with about 10 spaces.
